I am glad to confirm that it runs on Windows 8 64bit.
The only CC game that runs on windows 8 64 bit.

That's not correct, arnhem1944. Atleast in the system where I've checked.
Both, LSA and Iron Cross, are running in Windows 8 x64. As far as the other CC's, I haven't yet checked.
It's true that I was only able to run LSA when Window mode is selected. But with Iron Cross didn't had to tweak anything in Windows.

Soory for that. I have installed the complete series on my windows 8 64 bit
But for me Cross of iron was tricky to fix.
All CC up an running a lot of work but it was worth it.
