I have serious problems to get the game to run on my laptop.

With fullscreen checked it will no run at all. The same goes for all alternative resolutions run in window except for 1280x720 and 1280x600. But running in these window formats is not optimal. There is also an issue then with the map always moving to the most western edge by itself.

Video card driver is latest version.
ctgw and dxdiag files attached.

I have also installed the game on a stationary win 7 computer where it runs without any problems.

No ideas?
All "README FIRST" suggestions passed with no luck.

From the log, it looks like the problem is graphics related.

Your dxdiag shows you have Driver Version: 8.15.10.2372 for your intel chipset, but I think the latest version is 15.28.8.64.2875. Could you update your graphics drivers and try again:

Thanks, this led me into the right direction. I discovered that I have a dual graphics set up, Intel HD graphic + NVIDIA Geforce. I mananged to switch CTGW into Geforce graphics and problem is not a problem anymore.
