OK it's a little blurry but the code is "Close Combat encountered an internal error at address 0x454100 and will now exit.

Thanks for the report.  It looks like you were in the middle of a battle.  Was this part of a campaign game, and if so, were you able to continue the saved game?  Did you have to re-fight that battle, if so?

It was during a battle in the operational scenario Central Slugfest. I was able to re-load and play through the battle without a crash so it wasn't something associated with the save file.

OK. I had to change the way I was zipping the file. Here is the save game file.

A similar issue playing the campaign. Close Combat has encountered an internal error at 0x420E2E and will now exit. Version 2012.11.6.1

I was about 10 battles into the Grand Campaign, and it seems I cannot now continue with it. I was placing squads in the pre-battle phase, and it seemed that one of the squads was invisible.

No internal error message just a program stopped responding message from windows. This was during the Hill 285 operation campaign.

It has something to do with those platoons that receive replacement soldiers. I get these same errors, everytime I use those platoons. It comes when I'm placing those units and I select more than one unit at a time. Or if I don't select more than one, and continue with battle the error message comes when some of these replacements die. I'm playing campaingn (historical) as germans. I hope this helps.

How I do identify the replacement platoons?

You get them to those platoons that have taken casualities, and they come at night turns. It reads on their experience "Trained" or "Well Trained". You can bypass those errors if you use other infantry platoons. This seems not to effect tank platoons at all.

That might be part of the issue and I can look at it again. However I've been cycling through my companys and inserting new platoons for each battle. So I'm not sure that is the only issue we're seeing causing the internal errors.

Problem seems to also occur when your opponent is using platoons that have replacements.

Well if the bug effects the AI use of replacements that might explain why I'm getting the error even when I'm not using replacement platoons.
