My second game is well under way with Canada(me) as the Russians. Sept has arrived, the Germans are 2 hexes from capture of Leningrad and 3 hexes from capture of Moscow.
In desperation, the soviet military ordered mass artillery bombardments this past week. Some say it was a last desperate measure of use them or lose them. Two large soviet tank corps were shattered sw of Leningrad in the past week.
Rumour is that Stalin has quietly taken cyanide in his rooms at the Kremlin.
