The Dirty Dozen for September is up

In this month's Dirty Dozen:
Maps: Fradar has contributed a very large, accurate map of the Alps near the Austrian border illustrating what a dedicated designer can do with thought and planning. Speaking of Fradar, he helped Redleg create a map of the Hauts-Vents area that features elevated bocage and sunken roads in Normandy. We hope you like it.
David Boutwell has been delayed and unable to submit a map this month but he is planning a very good surprise for us in the October posting. I can't wait!
Scenarios: Francois "Fradar" Dargaud has submitted a truly unique battle between France and German forces using his large Alps map. He describes this battle as "medium sized," but I can attest that it plays large! "Across The Austrian Border" is a real challenge. Take command of Free French forces and be ready for a real dog fight.
M4 Jess has once again provided a "big and nasty" scenario for your gaming pleasure. "Pissing Off The Guard" will test your SPWaW skills!
Redleg takes the battle from Hauts-Vents in Normandy to the Vosges Mountains of France and on to 1919 Archangel, Russia. From there, it is off to Caspe in Spain, and then to the Pacific. Finally, he visits Finland and Hungary. These scenarios are all small to medium in size.
Steve "Warrior" Avery has sent a "science-fiction" scenario, set in an alternate universe where the US did not participate in WWII. Germany and Japan were victorious in Europe and Asia and took control of the colonies of their vanquished foes. After their conquests were consolidated, Germany and Japan began to have conflicts. Germany and her ally, Vichy France, held the strategic island of Madagascar and Japan decided to seize the island to gain a foothold near Africa and to protect the shipping lanes into its Asian empire. This scenario depicts the beginning of the Jap invasion of Madagascar. In keeping with his tradition, Warrior has provided two versions of the fight.
Last, but certainly not least, Joerg Loewenstein has converted some Dirty Dozen scenarios and maps for use with the SPWaW H2H mod. This is very good news for you H2H fans. A Dirty Dozen exclusive: Wild Bill Wilder's mini-campaign "Flesh and Steel" has been converted for H2H play. The Dirty Dozen is proud to host this campaign. We hope you'll spread the word, and make use of this collection of maps and scenarios altered for H2H. (These conversions have their own "SuperZip.")
