I'm leaning toward extraterrestrial intervention.

Little gray men come and take over or maybe a big rock will slam into us. Solar flair anyone?

I think the hadron collider at CERN will go berserk, create a black hole and suck us all in.

Mother nature is pissed, sooner or later she will correct the balance of nature and there will be a cleansing. The bottom line is, there are just to many humans. The root of ALL problems is overpopulation. There is no way this world will handle 14 or 21 billion people in the next 50 years. The crap will hit the fan!

Yep this ^ is most likely the way the world will end unless someone real quick figures out how to make giant tomatoes and cows and chickens or can shrink us to ant size. It was on the news just this morning of the world population growth rate hitting 7 billion and then 8 billion in one year and then soon the doubling effect will hit at some point like 16 billion then 32 billion then 64 billion then canablizism will be legalized.

No worries,some govt will invent a plague to cull the population
