I am running a Dell Latitude with Windows XP SP3 on it. I installed Commander the Great War and also the C++ and OpenAL programs included on the disk without any problems. The opening video played as well. But when I got to the screen to launch the actual game I got the following message when I clicked on "Play Commander The Great War": CTGW.EXE HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. Here is my CTGW.LOG file:

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but got the same error. For what it is worth, I play Commander Europe at War and Commander Napoleon at War on this computer without any issues. Any advice on this error would be appreciated. Thanks.
