Here are a few quick questions before I start looking into working on a mod....

1) Will there be a Close Combat Pacific game?
2) What are the future plans for the Close Combat series? Impacts to the engine and data structure?

To get my pacific CC fix, I have been stuck with playing CC5 w/okinawa mod. I don't wish to commit the time if there are plans to produce a stand alone pacific CC game or if future plans are to change the engine/data structure to an extend where my mod would be impacted.

Like others... I will continue to monitor this section for release of the needed mod tools.

1) Not that has been annouced at this time.  Maybe someday?
 
2) The next version of the game will use a new 3D engine.  Modding that game will be significantly different than modding the existing CC game engine.

Did Tarawa pocket mod ever get finished? I couldn't find a finished version.
