No Sound

I have just purchased Panzer Corps and campaign '39 installed them and made sure they were up to date. When I try to play the game works fine except there is no sound what so ever. Any ideas as to why this would be?

Not a clue ;(
however, rest assured, the sound doesn't play any part in the actual game play
