foot suppressed question

Have recently gotten back into the game - playing through some of the tutorials with the rulebook open - also using the board game rules to help me understand what is going on

my question is this - foot supressed in the computer game change the movement of a squad by 1 and in the board game changes the cost to fire by 1

it is a little things but just curious as to why or if it is a mistake or if I am reading the information wrong

Jack

foot suppressed in the latest board game rules adds an AP to fire and reduces firepower of the unit by two. I don't see a reference to any additional movement costs.

I put this post together

tm.asp?m=3219432

I couldn't find anything in the manual. The PC game probably uses the original version of the board game rules.

Many of these sorts of things were developed based on the original rules. This might be something worth updating as it shouldn't take very much work.

There is no difference between first and second edition ATB rulebooks regarding the foot suppressed effects: First Edition ruleset

If movement is being affected by foot suppressed in the computer game it should be corrected at some point.
