Modding Guide ?

Does anyone know if there is a modding guide for the game,or if not is one planned ?

Can someone from the designers or developers of the game please respond to customer requests,I don't want to start altering stuff within the game,and then discover it won't load and just crashes,I know the Lua files are easy to alter,but some guide lines would not go a miss here![&:]

I have to say this game is doing my head in,just trying to add a new unit type to the game is driving me up the wall,it keeps ******* crashing![:@]

Easy moddable I maybe by ALBERT EINSTEIN but not by the average gamer who does not have a scoobie,I need a modders guide ![&:]

In the Production lua what do the numbers stand for after X,Y = ?

With WAR PLAN ORANGE I can do artwork and create scenarios with my eyes shut,it so easy,but with this game its driving me nuts with pure frustration!

The x/y values correspond to the position of the graphic on the production screen.

Let me know what the error message is when it crashes (you should find it in the log if it doesn't appear in play) and I can help you debug.

This is the only error message in the log = KERNEL MEMORY CHECKING IS **OFF**

Other than that it just states that windows has an error?

Could you post the last few lines of the log. (I assume there is more text than the kernel message)

Nope only the Kernel message in the log,I have reinstalled the latest patch again which changed all my settings back to basic,at least the game works again,as for modding I'm giving up for now,I have wasted nearly 2 days trying just to add new ship types,why its so difficult who knows,anyway I will wait for naval upgrades via a patch hopefully,untill then the game works but its on hold,not enough naval interaction for me I'm afraid to say,game shelved awaiting future updates or modding guide![&:]

I will keep an eye on this forum over the next month or two to see how things are progressing,its a great game with alot of potential,but the naval game spoils it for me.So I'm of to create another scenario and do more art for WAR PLAN ORANGE ta ta the noo chaps![:D]

I have changed my mind about taking a break from the game,while I await possible naval improvements,the reason behind this is very simple,I just love playing the game even with its faults,I'm hooked its great.[:)]
