I am not sure if it has anything to do with the new beta version I am using, but in a few squadrons the 'get pilot' buttons are greyed out, even though the squadron is missing pilots, it is in a base with AV support, and there is +2000 supply. The Sqn is not split up in fragments, and it has 100% of its planes....what could i be doing wrong? How to get new pilots in the Sqn?

yes, lots of them, its only Jan 42...

Does the unit in question have any fragments?

How about wounded pilots. Does your unit have a bunch of WIA?

no wounded, 12 planes unit, 11 planes in unit, only 10 pilots, i cannot get the others in....(no wounded in the Sqn)...

You have detachment somewhere, can be seen from text "12 less 2" (you have 2 plane detachment somewhere). Click the "Unit OOB" button to see where it is. This prevents you from adding pilots.

There is a data entry error in the stock scenarios, and the 24th Kut-1 has a Detachment. The error is that this Det is also attached to the 21st Kut-1, I have told the Dev's of the error, but as yet it hasn't been fixed in a patch. This means that if the 21st Kut-1 is full of Pilots and airframes, you can't draw any replacements for the 22nd Kut-1. To fix the problem, you have to disband the 22nd Kut-1 detachment back into the Parent Kut-1 unit.

To permanently fix this problem, I have a mod with this error repaired. If anyone wants a copy of it just PM/E-mail me, and I'll send you one if you say please. [;)]

Edit: But for this fix to work, you would have to start your game again.

And check the actual pilot roster. You may have a number of pilots in transit to the unit. These will not show up on the front screen but will show up in the pilot roster and prevent you from using the get pilot button if you have a total number of pilots at the limit.
