I have started a server game gc 1941 campaign against Ketza. While making my moves I made a periodic save game. I had successfully saved the game at earlier parts in the turn atleast 2 times. Also these times where far apart as I made some moves in the morning then left the game to come back to it later in the evening.

During the evening play session I got a download error 99 after trying to make a save. I tried again and got the same message. I logged out of the game and then tried to log in again and got a failure message saying upload error 99 when I tried to load the game. I may have mixed up which one was download and which one was upload.

Can this be fixed? I was doing the first turn so the time investment is not bad.

That happens sometimes. For whatever reason I don't know. Just try again later on.

Yes, rebooting helped. Turn 1 submitted.

Happens a lot o me today....

Got the 99 error few times today. Got it also after hitting end turn and when I was retrying to save, this "combat" message have appeared.
Should I be worried that I have lost 100+ A/C for nothing?

I had lthe same problems with the server today too

Is there any explanation for this? Lately I get this error about 3/4 of the time. Rebouting also doesn't seem to help anymore...

I get it almost each time I finish a turn, and sometimes when I try to open a turn.
rebooting a couple of times usually works.

You could try contacting tech support at Slitherine. It's their server.

We're looking for a pattern here. Does the error get corrected if you just exit WitE and then go back in or do you have to reboot your PC to fix the problem?

Sunday and Monday I could not even down laod a turn off the server to play today I can download a turn play it then cant save. Same error message error 99.

Was finally able to get a server turn to work after removing game from computer and reinstalling.

When saving a tun most of the time there's the 99 error and a strange partisan combat message on the screen, but it works fine on the second try. I've never had a problem on the second try so far.

When opening a turn it's more random. It works fine most of the time. When there's a 99 error, it varies. sometimes a second try works; Sometimes quiting Wite and trying again works, sometime it works only after a couple of reboots.

We're having some fairly serious, yet intermittent, issues with the server at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience that it is causing. We are working to try and pin down the problem.

I tried playing my game with MT, but I can't download from server error 99.

Its worse now, once I get the error the game locks up completely.

I have to go into task manager then to processes to end program.

PBeM i am having no issues with.

Not sure if last patch is messing things up, but there are screwy things in my game with MT and server after we ptached.

I don't think that the latest patch causes the loading problem. I'm playing 1.06.19 and have "error 99 " 3/4 times
