Artillery Graphics

Is there any way to "tone down" the graphics of an artillery strike? I'ts hard to see the visible hexes (Using "L" hotkey) when the hexes are pockmarked with shellholes.

There is a way to tone down the artillery graphics, but it involves writing new C# code and adding a new feature to the game engine. This is a frequently requested feature, however, and something we might do at some point. Please feel free to post it on the wish list so we don't forget about it.
