Naval warfare criticism

While I'm enjoying the game tremendously I have a few grips with the naval side of things, those points should be valid for Time of Fury too.
1. The chance to miss is too big - in most encounters neither side hits, this makes naval combat very repetitive and boring.
2. the Allies (esp. the UK) do not build enough ships and most time are outnumbered by the German and Italian fleets.
3. Sub warfare has very little impact, hits are far inbetween and usually do not enough damage, it's impossible to score with a sub its PPs worth in damage.
4. Sub warfare is tedious as every turn you have to open the report screen to see if anything happened, this report should pop up automatically if anything new appears there.
