Hi there.

Its probably me but after loading the GC 44 West and GC 45 East when I load them up it starts to play the first scenario. Is there a way I can choose a particular scenario in the campaign to play?

No, that's WAD.
But there's a workaround if you want to play them as single scenarios. Take a look at this thread:
