Unplayably fuzzy screen

I just bought a copy, and I cannot play this game. While this program is running my screen is absolutely unreadable - every letter of every word is fuzzy, every graphic icon is unrecognizable. I have never, ever seen my machine behave like this before. I'm bitterly disappointed in this software and the people who wrote it.

I normally run three screens as one big desktop at 5760 x 1080. Turning off the two outer panels and running a single screen at the native 1920 x 1080 does not help. Fiddling around with other, lower resolutions on a single screen does not help. I have downloaded installed the version 1.02 patch, which does not help. Both Win 7 Pro and the AMD video drivers are patched and current.

Here are my machine specs:

Motherboard: ASUS P6X58D-E
Processor: Intel i7-930 2.8 GHz (@ 3.40 GHz)

Hard Drive #2: Western Digital 1TB 7200 RPM (WD1002FBYS)

Hi, the only thing I can say is that EDtBR run at fixed 1024x768 resolution only.
Is an old game and it seems that it isn't easy to fix. In any case, give a chance
to this (great) game and you'll not regret.

That's some machine! The game runs just fine on my 1680 x 1050 monitor.

Are you overclocking the CPU? I have seen weird things happen when pushing the envelope.

Thanks Cohimbra, I'll give it a try at 1024 x 768.

Sanch, I've been running all sorts of games and things on this machine for than two years at the 3.4 GHz speed, and *never* saw anything like this before.

Thanks for the feedback. <S>
