Reinforcement request

I have been attempting to request reinforcements in solitaire scenarios. When I enter the purchase screen it says that I have 0 points even though I have not requested or used reinforcements. I have tried increasing the battle points in the preferences. It makes no difference if the scenario has pre-planned reinforcements or not. I do not seem to receive the 20% points for reinforcements. Is this feature available for solitaire play with pre-built scenarios?

In one word: NO.
Unless the designer has included some points for reinforcements during his design.In this case tough, designers talk about this possibility in the scenario intro text, normally.

I sometimes build reinforcements into scenarios. When I do, I usually mention it in the text since it is unusual. On occasion, I have had a few reinforcements available without mention just to see how that works.
It is sometimes more difficult to design a scenario with reinforcements but it can add another dimension to a battle.
