I have mixed support units in my xxx headquarter's but when i try to assign them to a division i can only seem to pull a pioneer unit or stug support,i cant pull the howitzer,s or any other support.
Am i missing something,the division is well within range and all are in supply.It just seems strange to have all this support in a HQ and not be able to use it.

From the manual, para 7.5.2

"but they cannot attach construction, labor, artillery, mortar, and rocket support units, or support units with the designations LW or PVO"
