Destroyers expending their loadouts

I have tried the editor for the first time adjusting some of the experience and morale levels and adding a new fictional admiral named for my Navy CPO grandfather who served in the South Pacific from 1943-1945. I have not modified any of the weapons systems or their loadouts. At the beginning of the scenario my Farragaut and Sims Class DD's are in a CV TF as escorts in port Nomeau. As soon as they go to sea their entire loadouts for depth charges and 20 mm goes to zero and will not reload when you return to port. Anyone with editor experience have any ideas? I am running V 1.40 with no mods. Thanks!!!

Editor is seriously screwed up and I suggest not using it at all. Even the smallest of changes may trigger results such as you describe.
Sorry for being so short, but there have been longer threads re this issue (search for "editor questions" and "editor problems") if you want to read moreabout it.
Long and short of it all is - don't use editor.

SWODOG,
Which scenario did you edit? Rich Dionne (he's the editor expert)recommeded only editing scenario 17 (though I've had some luck with scenario 19). When you say loadouts, do you mean the ammo or the quanity of weapons has gone to zero? I've only seen the quantity of weapons going to zero on when I first experimented with the weapons mix on ships. This happens because certain ships (not sure which classes) have hardwired

weapon upgrade paths and if the expected weapon is not there it can cause problems.
Thanks for the replies...

Last night I started over editing scenario 19 and have had no problems... but to answer your question on the frist turn at sea the ammo quantity first went to zero and then on the next turn the weapons mounts began diappearing... by the way my Grandma was born in Griffin, Ga. small world... Thanks again ya'll!
