Hey out there. Besides AS and AR ships, what else do you need to make a forward sub base at midway. I have the AS and AR ships there and even tried putting a HQ with torp ordinance, but when i tried to rearm a sub with torps it didnt work. ?????

There is a table in the back of the Manual, in the Appendix... page 287 that details what size port and how much naval support you need to have to load torpedoes.

If the port isn't very big, you are correct in using an AS to supply torpedoes to the subs. However, it will need to be loaded with supplies in order to reload the sub. Does it have enough supplies on board?

The Naval HQ having torpedoes doesn't make any difference, I believe that is only for aircraft.

Make sure the AS is loaded with supply and the sub hasn't used up 100% of it's ops points.

Starting on Page 284 is the rearming player's best friend!

Page 287: The 21in Mk14 has a rearm cost of 1290 and needs a AE, AKE, AD, or AS with that much capacity, or with Midway fully built out at Port level 5 it will need 198 Naval support also to do the rearming without the support vessels.
