Hi,
I get a CTD when trying to start CTGW. I've attached my ctgw.log. I have the latest video drivers and have reinstalled Visual C++. Thanks.

This is definitely a driver issue, try to download the latest not from the notebook vendor, but straight from the actual graphic card manufacturer.
But I let Szymon have a look as he might have some more technical questions, we will do our best to set you up though.

Thanks so much; I really appreciate your efforts. I downloaded the latest driver from Intel some time ago as suggested in the README FIRST. Is there another place I should be looking? Thanks again.

Could you post your Directx Dialog file please, we are looking into this and are building the official patch, so we try and incorporate and solve this for you asap.

Hey, according to glewinfo your OpenGL version (driver) should run the game with no problems, but as you can see that is not the case. This is definately the driver issue (reports it can do more than it can reay do). We are trying to find some solution tho. I will post a build for you to try soon.

Please unpack attached exe to the CTGW installation folder (rename ctgw.exe that is already there to something else first) and try running the game again. If all goes well we will make it part of next patch.
Fingers crossed.
get exe

Sorry, no luck. It generates a fatal error: unsupported OpenGL version. I've attached the ctgw.log file.

Making progress [:)] CTGW started but came up with an all white screen with menu items in a very faint grey. I was able to see enough to actually start a scenario. That came up with the screen mostly all white with about 8 hexes worth of the map and the intro which I started to click through. Got to 2 of 5 in that and then got an error: "The igxprd32 display driver has stopped working normally... reboot." Screen went to what looked like 800x600 resolution and 8 bit color. So, it's definitely the driver. I've attached the ctgw.log file. I'm going to check the Dell support site to see if they have solution or a driver update. Thanks so much.

Found a driver on the Dell Support site which was older than the latest Intel version. Tried it anyway and got the same results as above. I think I need a new PC. [:)]

Crap, I really hoped we could make it work. I can't do more I am afraid. Other PC is indeed required (even if just tiny bit newer;).

In response to installing new 1.3.0 patch, I just re-installed game and this patch without the beta patch and it works fine. Thanks, hope this helps!

Unfortunately I have the same problem. I open the Game Menu, press play and nothing happens.
I've been through this thread and addressed the issues raised but still nothing.
Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
