In an effort to show our support for Matrix Games let us submit virtual medals from our respective countries. Since I am Canadian please allow me to begin with the Virtual Victoria Cross.

Victoria Cross.
Presented to the Members of Matrix Games on behalf of gamers around the world. For valour, gallantry and tenacity in the development of the best WW2 era tactical combat simulation. For tirelessly working many hundreds of hours under grueling conditions, while under fire from spouses, family members, and friends that just did not understand. For all those sleepless nights spent basking in the dim glow of the computer screen, struggling through endless piles of historical data, I am proud to present you with the Virtual Victoria Cross. (VVC)

Finnish Mannerheim Cross
On behalf of “crazyivan” from New Zealand I would like to present Matrix Games with the Finnish Mannerheim Cross.
A decoration awarded regardless of military rank in times of war for special bravery, for important results in the battles and for meritorious command of war operations.

Thank you Crazyivan! Funny that New Zealander found pic of Mannerheim Cross and I didn't

... On behalf of all Finnish SP-players I give this to everyone in Matrix Games (whatever their "rank" is)! You all really deserve it. And thank you to Keebler about great idea.
PS. This could mean beginning of "medal rain" to Matrix, isn't it?
Sami

Allow me to set in on behalf of the many SP fans from the United States and present the SPWAW team with the Virtual Medal of Honor, World War II edition.
Thanks to everyone for the time and effort you have put into this great game.

I have just created the Red Banner People's Glorious Medal of Gaming Enjoyment, for bringing the toiling proletariat great fun, and relieving the stress of their harsh capitalist slavery by letting them kill things while munching on chips. In the Soviet tradition, the order comes with a prize of 15,000 Rubles ($0.12), and a 1982 Lada Niva. Sorry, no pictures, and the Lada's in the shop.

Keebler: Why can't I get an image to show up? I wanted to post the Victoria Cross. What am I doing wrong?
