DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY THOUGHTS ON PLAYING A CAMPAIGN USING ONLY PARATROOPS. IT SEEMS THAT TO BUY TRANSPORT FOR EACH MISSION COSTS WAY TO MUCH IN SUPPORT POINTS (MORE THAN YOU ARE GIVEN). ANY IDEAS??
TIA

If you are playing the whole campaign as paratroopers, buy some transports as core units. Also reset the amount of points you can have to play the campaign. That might work.

Hey, your SHIFT-Key is stuck !!!

Furthermore, it doesn't make much sense to do the whole campaign with Paras only, really.

At first, you'll need transports to carry them - but this will cost you so much that you can't buy Arty - bad mistake if you ever get into on of those assaults with 10:1 odds against you !!

If you buy them as core units, ok - but you'll have them in any scenario, even when you have to dug in and defend - wasted points, and remember - the AI gets units according to the unit value of your force ..

Furthermore, you wouldn't have a very enyoable game - the AI is really unable to counter such a thread - it will send it's unit after the VCs, and have them running in circles there until you move in to finish them off .. a good joke once, but will get boring afterwards.

I would suggest that you choose a "normal" core force (tank comp. for example), and add some Special Forces or Paras to it.
If the situation is right, you let them infiltrate/drop, otherwise you use them as "normal inf".
