Editor: Serious bug breaks custom scenario

I just discovered a bad bug (or at least a very serious short-coming) in the editor regarding reinforcements.

In my Weserübung scenario there are a number of HisUnits with a modified set of SFT types, ie different than the pre-defined unit originally used to create the HisUnit.
If this HisUnit is brought on the map on a later round by an event, the unit will default to the original pre-defined Subpart unit. You will lose the modified set of SFT types. In the screenshot the 'Bergen Seetransport' should arrive with 4 transport ship. The Subpart 'Naval vessels' contain one of each German ship SFT type...

If you remove the original Subpart unit from the HisUnit, the unit will not arrive at all since it is 'empty'.
Also, you can no longer place the unit back on map in the editor (it is on the list). You need to re-assign a subpart unit first.

Unfortunately, this is a real deal-breaker for my Weserübung scenario. Many of the reinforcement units are screwed up.

Hi,

I am not a 100% sure what you have been doing. It seems to me like you put reinforcement units on the map, changed their troops and then deleted them again and expected them to show up as you edited them?

The way to get your reinforcements to show up as you want them too is to give them the correct subpart. If you want specific troop sizes and types for units it will involve you having to make a different predef unit for each composition.

best,
Vic
