Gary/phoenix,
I see your multiplayer game is progressing. Have there been any issues affecting your play from a multiplayer perspective? Have there been any crashes or network problems?

None at all, as far as I'm aware. There have been no crashes, no network issues (am I right, Gary?) Seems to be working beautifully.
I'm losing though, and for that I blame the AI. There must be a bug somewhere causing it......

I spoke too soon. We played again today and were bugged by a bug that repeatedly cut the connection because 'synchronisation' was lost. We tried all ways to get round it. In the end we pinned it down to my giving a simple enough 'Move' order (with multiple waypoints). No idea why that would have messed things up. Another feature of the problem was that each time we tried to get round it I would put in a set of orders, save the game right before the issue, we would run it, it would stop/crash/whatever it is (because synchronisation lost) then when we we loaded that save to try again none of the orders I put in before the 'crash' had been saved in the save file!!!!??? I was giving orders to about 5 units. In the end we tried each order in turn, found the one that was crashing it.
Another - less important - 'bug' I've noticed is that often the 'Tools' are unavailable. I click and nothing happens. After about ten attempts to get it to draw a path (for example) or draw a LOS line, then it then does it. No idea why. Feels like a lag, sort of, but can't be, because after about 10 tries the line it draws, finally, is the last one I tried, not any of those before (as would be the case if there was lag).
You interested in any multiplayer saves for these issues, Dave? I can send a save plus instructions for the 'failed synchronisation' issue, plus Gary's password, so you can run it.

MP save sent, Dave, along with our passwords. Here's the instructions (in the pic below). If you open it up and play Allied side then the scene below will greet you. Certainly this worked repeatedly for us - if you give the order shown in the pic to the unit shown, then run it, then synchronisation is lost. I haven't tried it on my machine only as I'd have to start up Gary's side with his password and though this position is a few hours old I don't really want to see his side at all. So not sure if it repeats across one machine, 2 machines (or whatever) not connected across the Atlantic Ocean.....

OK thanks Peter. I'll check it out.
