Looking forward to this one muchly. Flashpoint Germany was, and indeed is, an excellent game. Been far too long.

The rumor mill says we may have a new forum in the next week or so too. Then we can go hog wild with info, screens and Q and A.

I don't have any experience with the previous game, but this grabbed my attention immediately when I saw the screens and description on Facebook. I'll be watching closely for more news!

Might be tempted. Perhaps Matrix could post some screen grabs that are of a reasonable resolution.

That is probably my fault with the type and size of file. It is getting reduced to fit the screen and loosing resolution. We will work on posting cleaner images in our new forum.

Speaking of new forums, I hear we may see ours today at some point. Fingers crossed. We should be able to get some new (and better resolution shots [:D]) soon.

Will there dismounted inf and inf units, in this version?

I have been debating purchasing the original Flashpoint: Germany. Is this a whole new game or an expansion to the original. That will partly determine on whether I buy the original or not along with how long until this new one will be available.

Infantry come in two flavors. Discreet leg units of many subtypes and mechanized infantry units, again of various types, with various types of carriers (APCs and IFVs). Individual squads are tracked for combat loss as are the carrier vehicles. We will make more information available in the new forum when it goes live.
