Infantry Division suddenly empty of squads (no Hatamoto please)

Hiya,

in my current PBEM game I encountered a strange problem. On the 20th of April, 1942 the 32rd ID arrived at San Francisco, at 100% strength. I changed its status to STRAT to get the division shipped a few days later on. When I wanted to embark the division on the 25th, I realized that the unit was completely empty of squads, except 65 support squads. Now what has happened here? I crosschecked with my opponent, we both are using the latest beta, and we did not do any updates during that turn.

Here are screenshots from the 22th and the 25th of April showing the difference:

I´m attaching zipped save files from both days here (complete turn ZIPs including replay and report). Perhaps someone is able to help? Is it possible to restore the ID in the file from the 25th? My opponent made some very significant moves during the last days, so stepping back a few days would be a bad choice for him.

Thanks in advance for any help!

The rest of the division is probably loaded somewhere... click on "organization" and you'll probably see where it is. You should never mess with the operational mode during loading/unloading processes

Oh f*** :)

I´m feeling like a complete idiot *g*. Yeah, seems the division is already underway. But I don´t remember that I got a warning on loading that the entire unit won´t fit onto the ships. May it be possible that the TF loading screen shows the unit as completely loaded (no red warning text), but still has left behind some parts of it?

That happens all the time. I keep the TF loading in "do not unload mode" and without destination set. When its loaded finished loading I create a new TF that loads everything that wasn´t loaded and then merge it with the first TF.

Its a bit of a hassle but sooner then you know you will do it without thinking! [:)]

I find that by using an ample number of ships, this doesn't happen very often for me. I use Amphibious mode a lot, so I use a lot of ships anyway... Heavier on fuel, but it saves me time - both as a player, and for my ships when unloading. I usually try for 50% space to spare in both cargo and troop capacity at minimum, but prefer 100% if possible with the ships available.
