Hi all,

as far as you know, is there a particular cause that makes a pbem save file fail to load for the japanese player?
I've tried to re-download it from my mail-box, but the problem presists. i've tried to close and re-open the WITP.exe many times, but the problem remains. I've also tried to rename it into another slot (from .69 to .79) but nothing changes. it keeps on saying "save file fails to load".

What could it be? (already checked the patches, we both use the same one)

Has your opponent resent the turn to the dropbox? It could have been corrupted during the upload.

Odds are your opponent accidentally sent you the wrong turn (a save from a different version if he's playing multiple games, an accidently saved game vs the AI or Head to Head, etc.)

Thanks guys. I've asked him to resend it (not using the dropbox, simply the email)... but the problem's still there. Maybe what Quixote said. I'll ask QBall

Ok, it seems the problem is mine and not QBall's.
I tried to load an old save from him and that failed to load too...

I realized that had just installed a brand new copy of WITPAE, using a different path in order to run sandbox scenarios not using the latest Patches... and that may have screwed my save folder path...or something like that.

Anyway, now i uninstalled everything and tried to re.install a fresh copy... but now the Whole program doesn't load!

Well.. sometimes i'd really like to be a computer geek [:@]
