So I wanted to start a game with a customised home system matching that of our solar system. However, when I try to delete the original planets, they disappear from the main screen, but resolutely refuse to disappear from the display at the bottom left of the screen. You can still cycle through all the deleted systems in that bottom left display, and if you right click on them, it will take you to where they used to be, except, of course there's nothing actually shown in the main screen.

I was wondering whether there's an extra step needed to delete them properly. Does it matter that they still show up in the bottom left screen?

Ugh - stupid post. Mods please delete. I realised the game was just remembering previous selections. It's gone as soon as you save/reload.
