We are now listed in the Beta-Testers Section of the site as a game to sign up for as a beta tester. Still not sure about the selection process on this new system, but you can get your name on the list.

Look for Beta-Test at the top right of the main Matrix page. [:)]

I'm sure its already late summer in some part of the world

Late summer? The campaign season will almost be over!

I can (grudgingly!) wait on the game, but I'd also love to help you guys if possible. I've been waiting *forever* for a platoon-level (best scale for this era IMHO) Cold War Gone Hot game. I've still got my ancient copies of Red Star/White Star and Mechwar '77 under my bed. So, what I'm saying is - I'm qualified lol. I've got literally every book I could find on Pact vs NATO from the mid-70's to '89. Currently reading "Red Thrust" by Steven Zaloga, which is great fun since it's entirely from the Pact point of view.

Anyway, shoot me a PM and let me know if/how I can help. People who are "into" this subject matter gotta stick together.

Kondor, if you go to the main Matrix home page, there is an option tab at the top right of the screen for beta testers. We are one of the listed games.

I signed up on Monday the 8th...or Sunday...still need folks?

Update. All scenarios are finished and pounding the Beta Test team severely!

The campaigns are being finished so they can be tested and PBEM testing is about to start.

The light at the end of the tunnel is the Matrix staff working hard to get ready to put FPC:RS in your hands when we hand it over to them.

Do you need more testers?

We may pull a few more testers in the next week or two once we resolve issues with PBEM and campaigns. Both are very high priority for us right now.

The game is running so well that the code has been locked. That's a major mile stone in the development of the game!!

It's a huge testament to the dedication and talent of the team to get to this point. Everyone, from the Beta Testers to the developers, is working hard to get this game ready for shipping. [&o] [&o]

... But we are still squashing bugs in PBEM++ and the campaign and getting remaining features up and running in those areas. We are getting much closer! [:D]
