just bought and installed CC:LSA. when i open it it runs for a second then it minimises back to the desktop(alt-tab style). tried to start in XP, Win98, and all of the options checked. any thoughts?

i am running win7 64bit

That's an odd one, and nothing I've ever heard of happening before. It may be trying to display an error message if something is failing very early in the startup. Can you use ALT+TAB to return focus to the game?

One thing you can try is to hold down the CTRL key while starting the game. This should show you the game options dialog box immediately upon startup. You can try the following (all under the general tab):

1) Check the 'Windowed' display option.

2) Turn off videos.

3) Try selecting a low screen resolution (like 800 x 600)

I ran antivirus last night, and now it works fine.
