How do I dismantle units?

I have not found in the manual how to disband, dismantle units.
Can you share?

in the lower right side of the scream where there is a wrench to fix units and a upgrade icon, there is also an X, click on the X and then the units you want to remove, there may be restrictions on removing a unit after its moved, I do not recall of the top of my head... let me know if this is not clear..
