Worst feeling in the world: Its 23rd here but I have to wait for the 24th for Shadows to release :'( and to make things even worse, I have work tomorrow and Saturday

You think that's bad... I am on diaper duty.... and that's after work and before breakfast.

I'll buy the game tomorrow no doubt... When will I be ale to sit and actually play the thing to my heart's content..... Next year? [8|]

Don't you know us Limeys in Blighty have been awake since 5.30am this morning and still no Shadows!!!!

Well, he hinted at "before noon" eastern US, and that should mean 11:55 or so... It is still quite a few hours until that.

I'm awake, but the release won't start rolling until the rest of our US staff is in the office at 9AM. It's a fairly complex release because of all the extra promotional setup, so I'd expect it to take an hour or two to go live.

WHAT!!!! Not even 9am yet?!?

As an aside, would it be best to "fresh" install everything ie; DW-ROTS-Legends-shadows, or just install shadows?

Just install shadows, it should not care about the state of the old Legends.

If you have replaced a lot of things, it could be an idea to do a clean install, though.

The only concern would be any modded files - you may want to back those up if you don't have another copy somewhere.

I hope Shadows brings in lots of new fans so once the eventual modder expansion is released, we can get some great gameplay that no one has thought of yet. Also hopefully it gives Codeforce lots of encouragement for Distant Worlds 2

It's 1412 here in England, but I've been forced into going out with the other half tonight.

I think she knows that as I've spent all week banging on about this game, she won't see me Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
