The Empire Policy settings seem to have lost a few options since Legends.

I am at least missing the whole DesignComponent* group where we could influence the automatic designs.

As a pirate i am also missing all Planet-Policies, even after i successfully colonized with a found ship (and that colony is really mine and not just a controlled independant).

Note that designs have changed in Shadows.

You now have design template files per ship type per race. You can find these in the designTemplates folder. These can be customized to include any components you wish.

This new approach gives a much greater level of control over designs.

Ah pretty cool, missed that.

Would be nice to be able to edit/save/choose&switch templates during a running game from inside the game, just like with policies. But good to know that the functionality didnt just disappear.
