Greetings,

So, I have a colony with a "facility" Hidden Pirate Base. How can I find\attack\remove this base?

Actually, the broader question is, how can I attack pirates in general? Currently there are 9 pirate factions just running around wiping out my mining stations and civilian transports, but unless they attack one of my SPs, I don't seem to be able to do anything about them. It's as though they can wage an undeclared war on me, but I have no mechanism for responding offensively.

You can attack it from the colony details view, facilities tab. Select the nasty structure, and press attack on the right. Some troops are recommended.

If you manage to bust their bases, they run out of steam pretty fast. You may have to kill more than one base per faction, though. If you don't know where their bases are, either search around, or steal some territory maps with spies.
