I was doing a quick game last night where I had quickly subjugated two other races - I had found a hostile independant colony and was about to invade it, which I did.

Then seconds later another race appears and launches their troops onto the planet while mine are already fighting. Is this WAD? Seems somewhat exploitative - this happened 4 times no less with different races as I had to go back and pick up more troops and take (back) the colony from the new owners. [&:]

TLDR: 3 Way ground battles - WAD?

When someone invades a planet I was already intending to invade, I launch a bigger force before the battle finishes, and took the planet for myself, AND the smaller invading force become my soldiers too =D

Now if it is working as intended, is a good question...

Yah, there's something wrong here. I managed to attack myself. I sent a few ships to raid a planet where I had facilities. It went fine, they joined my guys from the pirate facilities and fought the owner of the planet. Oddly, in this attack I was made the defender and the owner of the planet was made the attacker. At any rate, I sent a few more ships to raid, but all of those raiders were oddly added to the 'attacking' force, i.e. the empire owning the planet. And so I ended up fighting against myself...and losing.
