I read in another post that someone encountered an Allied player used Fast Transport to run troops to Gili Gili in the opening move(s) of the game.

I've played the Alllies a bit and as near as I can tell the Allies don't have any ships in Australia that would be good as fast tranports - do they? At least not enough to haul a brigade somewhere? All the DD's have a "capacity" rating of "0". Or, am I missing something here?

Even though DD's and CA's/CL's say they have 0 capacity they still can cary troops/supplies on a Fast Transport mission.
I think its 200 for DD's and maybe 350 for the bigger guys.

the fact that cl's an dd's didnt have cargo numbers threw me off thanks for the heads up.

250 cargo cap for all non-transport types. CA's, CL's, DD's, and maybe BB's too. Haven't tried with those yet. :p
