Hi everyone it is with great pleasure that I present this Freespace 2 mod for distant worlds shadows Extended.
I have been a massive Freespace fan sense it's beginning and this mod I made for myself originally, until I had done so much and now I think it's finally become a mod!!!. I want to share it with all freespace fans because It's something I have wanted for such a long time a 4x Freespace game.

Special Thanks to Haree78 because this is really an extension of his mod and also:
Kalthaniell
Woodman
Martion and Robocrab without which this just would not have been possible.

Just download The Great War folder and put it into your distant worlds customization folder, Then on the main screen of your game select theme The Great War....done.

Still have a few things to clean up and polish but I'm working on it alot
This is still a work in progress so any issues post it or message me and i will see what I can do.

You do not seem to have put a features list. What is the difference between this and Haree78's extended?

Yes Sorry the features are
2 new playable races the shivans and the alliance or terran vasudan alliance.
lots of new ships from freespace universe which I have reworked and edited to use with distant worlds shadows.
Original Freespace 2 Music which I am hoping to expand with freespace 1 music hopefully soon.
Edited race and bias files for the new races, I have made shivans research faster and building faster they have a distinct advantage and oh they have a deathray from the start which means attacking there planets ammmm hard

In future will be adding more art assets and music hopefully! and will need to prehaps do more balancing this I will leave to all of you to see do you like how the games turn out.

Any features you think I need to add let me know and I will try to do it or get help with if necessary.

Hi just updated the mod to include Freespace 1 music it's not clean but it works

Add free space 2 music as well and to show support have some GTA sprites =D PS: I am working on shivans now but have no ETA due to college =(
