Reinstall of WITP AE in new computer with Win 7 and I cannot get the Command Line switches running in the game.
I created a new shortcut as per the "read me" file, using the "exe" file( not the Autorun)and added this in the target box:
"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -fd –altFont -deepColor
I`m sure it`s something dumb & obvious, but I`m really lost, help appreciated....

Try this, depending on your screen resolution, change the -px and -py values:
-skipVideo -deepColor -dd_sw -px1440 -py900 -cpu2 -archive -autosave

It looks like you copied and pasted the switches from the readme file. Try erasing them and typing them in manually. The some of the dashes in the readme file are the wrong size and don't work if copied and pasted.
