Hi there,
I have been playing a number of games now and noticed the Ancient Guardians seem to declare war for no reason. I created a new game and made sure all my fleets remained in my systems and were set to defend. After an hour into the game I get the warning about my fleets attacking which they were not and then they declare war. Totally destroying any progress I have made. This time around I am playing passively trying to win without going to war.

Is this normal for the Ancient Guardians? For me now its spoiling the game because nothing I do seems to stop this from happening. On top of this the way they move from system to system just crushing everything breaks the immersion of what is a living, breathing galaxy.

Any thoughts?

Yes, looks like the same problem. I think it started happening after I had achieved victory but continued playing. Maybe that's the trigger.

Glad they are looking at it. Really excellent game!

Well its been around for at least couple of patches now with no sign of any attempt at fixing it, so whether they are looking at it or not I cant say. They certainly know about it though.

This is fixed in the next update so that the Ancient Guardians no longer automatically declare war on empires that are building victory wonders.
