My Slovakian Mobile Brigade did not upgrade to a Mobile Division in August 41. Now in Nov 41 and it is still a Brigade.

Is there some pre condition that is required for the upgrade to occur or is this a possible bug?

It is possible that the unit was isolated on its scheduled upgrade turn. Would this prevent it? If so should it not upgrade later on when back in supply?

Yes, the brigade was later upgraded to division. Also in my current game it took to some time.

I report this over a yr ago and was ignored again.

It doesn't get replasements so there does not up-grade, atleast that's what has happened in all of my games after 1.06+

This unit has still not upgraded and its February 1942.

What is going on?

It sometimes happens to have a TOE upgrade delayed very long. Try to use refit mode and place it on an active rail hex next to it's commanding HQ.
I've also seen soviet tank divs in 42.

I had hasked Pavel to increase chances of a TOE upgrade if the unit is way overdue but it was obviously not implemented.

I once had a Guards Tank Division until summer of 42.

Can't say I've ever seen the Slovaks upgrade (playing vs. AI only.)

But Blind Willy doesn't do details all that much.

Pleased to report on T35 (12th Feb 1942) this unit has finally upgraded

Ahh..., happens further into the game than expected. (Will have to check out Slovaks in other scenarios, other times.)
