Using latest Beta 1.7.11.23m on the last turn a few dozen pilots spontaneously claimed 17920 kills each.

This is most disconcerting, any suggestions as to if there is anything that could have caused this - other than a bug?

Before sending the turn to my PBEM opponent the pilots looked normal (0 kills) and the unit has just been bombing Bataan on a regular basis.

The pilot numbers are already high in both these saves which suggest issue happened sometime before this turn. Would need turn when it happened to see why.

Save 13 in this is a save I made just before ending orders.
Save 16 is the save I sent to the Allies from the end orders.

Save 13 does not show the problem (at least by listing top pilots). I cannot see into Save 16.

I note that two pilots have their missions set to "17990" (hex "4646") as opposed to hex "4600" for the kills and one has missions set to "27509" (hex "6B75").

If save 16 is okay then the corruption must have occurred during the Allied turn. I'll see of my opponent as any more saves.

Michael I am the other party on this but have no intermediate saves. I can redo the turn but am open to suggestions.

There are about 45 pilots affected by these weird numbers. The file sent to Allied player appear okay, but the one coming back has the numbers in the kills and/or missions.
So my guess something must have happened during the Allied order phase that corrupted the pilot array, most likely some overflow or other. I had seen that in some earlier code which has since been patched. Could be another instance hiding somewhere. Problem is trying to find it - it must be rare as it hasn't been noticed before.

Thank-you for looking at this. Memory corruption problems can be a nightmare to find.

We will try and redo the Allied turn and hope the problem doesn't re-occur.
