It has been over 7 weeks since my current opponent sent me a turn. I would like to start a new
game. I would like to play as Allies, but if that is not possible, then I will look into playing
as Japan. I was waiting for the release of version 6.0 of the Reluctant Admiral mod, but it does
not seem if they are working on it at this time. I am open to either scenario 2 or the 5.5 version
of R.A. I am willing to play any style of game you want, I just want to make sure we are both
on the same page. Turn 1 limits and House Rules are all negotiable.

A good opponent is surprisingly hard to find. So far my present opponent has been excellent.

Good luck in finding a new one (I am sorely tempted, but not really sure I can handle two...if the present one were not so
competent...then I would give it a whirl)

I do not wish to be critical of my opponent. He is from Turkey, lives in Istanbul, and was active in the civil unrest earlier this year. I am disappointed that our game has come to an apparent end and even more that he did not keep me informed. I do hope all is well with him and his family. He did not just drop the game, he did inform me that he would be unable to do turns for a while, but that time frame is long past.

While Scenario two is a solid challenge, Reluctant Admiral is a most Manly Endeavor.

I do trust that your opponent in Istanbul is safe and cared for. The wonderful thing about AE pbem, is that it will patiently for you to pick it up again at some point in the future.
