Hey there would anybody be interested in a battle on a huge map I made, Max points no Air??? (just because there is so many bugs) but I do think we should have Para's?? the map has every thing you could think of we would start in opposite corners 240 hexes away and race through the map to capture the VH's which by the way are 250 points a turn, every type of terrain is here cities ports rivers dams swamps islands you name it
interested

I'll play you. IIRC, VikingNo2 suggested you'd be a good match since your infantry tactics are so good.

What did you have in mind?

reinforcements

Because this will be a huge map I also propose that we dole out the reinforcements say every 3-4 turn you can use a 1000 pts of reinforcements

VikingNo2 & 3/2 ACR: If you two want to replace me on this one you can. 3/2 & I started a couple matches, but 3/2 is still trying to sort out some issues on the map he made and I have to start a PBEM WC match against Brutto-Bob. I like to keep my number of PBEMs low enough so that I have time to get one turn out per day. If you take over this one I'll let both of you know when I can take another match on.

Have you played Brutto-Bob ?

Yeah, remember you said you thought my infantry tactics were good and I said that Brutto-Bob wouldn't think so since he basically wiped out most of my Mechanized SS in about 3 turns? I paid him back though because my PzIIIhs crushed his Matildas and I won the match.

I'd be happy for any tips on him though. But no tattling on my tactics to him, alright? ;)

He is very good at layering his AT guns, and he moves them often. I don't know how to get around that, if you see a truck then you can be sure it has arty or AT in it. I only played him once we had a bouble battle going. One he was Czec and I was Italy the other a desert battle with him UK and me Germany. I was starting to get the upper hand in the Italy one, the UK vs Germany was a bloody mess and anybodys game. I havn't played him enough to figure anything out. Same can be said about you ;)

Yeah, I know about those **** AT guns he likes to use. Thanks for reminding me. A couple of little pop-gun sized AT guns he had shut down my whole flanking maneuver from the north. They were sitting right in the open in the desert and I never spotted them.

I have never had good luck using AT guns myself.
