A/C Research - again : help !

Hi all,
please help me with some explanation
I'm in the beginning days of March 1944 (as German) and I invested 40 full units (AFAC+CFAC+EFAC, correct parts & engines - fully working plants, no damages) of Ta 152C for 60 days (from last week of December 1943), at least; so 60*40 = 2400 !!! => - 24 month (in advance from the basic date 01-01-45), but none at all.
What's wrong ?
Are there other pre-requirements, in the Ta 152C production ?
Is there a daily cap, so 40 daily units are only a theory (and a waste of resources) ?

Here, at last, they arrived; two months and about 2.400 full units later than expected
Where is the trick (or my misunderstanding of the R&D rules) ?
Is there an increasing penalty for very long run R&D projects ?

P.S. : why the 128mm Flak (the best one) is not produced ? never in the AAGs stock !

About R&D: I can't help you, sorry...
About 128mm Flak: if I remember well, only a certain type of target can receive this
type of flak (as well as the 81mm Flak41), but I can't remember which.

I think that this is the theory, but no one knows for sure how it works...
Also you have to know that some other factors seems to affect the airfield production: transport damage (the AI have to transport the plane pieces from here to there), armament damage (MGs and guns), alluminium damage, ball bearings, etc, reduces the production.
I hope that some day we will have the longly awaited patch in which the new production interface and R&D changes that I think that will help us to better understand how it works...

research cost for a single engine fighter is calculated as
1st month - 100 machines researched (100 engines + 100 frames)
2nd month - 200 machines + cost of 1st month -> total cost is 300 machines
3rd month - 300 machines and SUM of 1st and 2nd month
...
8th month - 800 machines + SUM of 1st to 7th
9th month an further is 800 machines for each + SUM of all other

The production of FlaK guns is handeled by the computer. So even destroying the factories that are originally produce them does not stop the computer from building.
As the 12.8 cm Flak was built in so limited quantities and maily used in fixed gun emplacements, e.g. FlaK tower in Hamburg/Berlin/Vienna and some as railroad Flak, they will not change the course of war.
As FlaK will not stop the bombers - same as it was in reallity - place them in a away that they make your opponent pay with damaged/destroyed machines.
And as in reallity, they will also fire at your own machines. So it is on you to keep your fighters out of range of your FlaK batteries (or accept the losses).

AS of 1.02 this is incorrect.
The normal production system works for aircraft in production and aircraft in "research". Any component factory (AFAC, EFAC, CFAC) that isn't in delay produces within the limits of transport and damage and adds the units produced to the respective pools. Then aircraft are assembled from the components in the pool with a further check for delays (this is a 6 sided die rolled against the number of components of that type in the pool so if you have 6 of each [airframe, engine, and parts] then the plane is sure to be made). Aircraft produced are checked against arrival date. If they are in play they go to the available aircraft pool. If they have not arrived yet then they are added to the appropriate research pool one at a time and a test is made.
The Number of aircraft in the research pool is tested against the number of months to arrival times 33 plus 100. If the test is passed then the arrival date is decreased by a month and the pool is reduced by ((months/3)+1) * 100. Thus say it is 18 months till arrival for your coveted Ta152H. A test Aircraft is built and brings the total to 694. The months is changed to 17 and the pool has 700 subtracted from it. Note this is a small bug as the pool reduction doesn't match the test number and thus the pool goes negative. You have to make up the negative aircraft before you can advance further so the actual cost to advance is 100 plus 33 and a third times the current delay.
This creates an interesting situation as the month changes. The test number is reduced but not checked until the first aircraft is produced in the new month. If you were close then that first aircraft could advance things another month and could bring in the new plane right then conceivably wasting most of a months research.
