Aircraft MVR bands

Quick question for air-to-air gurus...

All aircraft types with the exception of fighters/fighter-bombers have a general maneuver value and have "0" as the value for the different maneuver bands.

Does that mean that their maneuver does not drop as altitude increases or is there a hardcoded "mvr loss" per increasing band?

So, what would happen if I assign fighters/fighter-bombers a general value and leave maneuver at the different bands at "0" too? Would it work the same or do they use a different formula?

Thanks for the enlightment!

Different I believe. You can test it out but I don't think it will be pretty.

That probably would make a lousy fighter...

look at the P47N. It doesn't have maneuver bands that fall off.
