Windows 7 Question

I am about to have my laptop upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7.

I use it to play War in The Pacific so I just want to make sure that the version of the game I have will still be able to run under Windows 7.

The box I have with minimum system requiremtns lists: Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP and Vista.

I am also using one of the beta patches too.

Are there any special flags or settings I'll need to set once I get it reinstalled? And will there be anything I'll have to do DURING the install process I didn't have to do with XP?

Thanks

Nope, works fine on Win 7. The minimum requirements list on the box pre-dates Win 7 and 8.

Works actually better in Win 7 than XP.

I sometimes get an error message when I exit the game but I think that's more to do with my setup then Windows itself. PS. Yes I commit sacrilege and leave the game but sleep, food and my wife often call.

I've had no problems at all in 3 years of Windows 7.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) with Service Pack 1 on a Dell laptop with dual-core Intel CPU, and it works just fine.

FWIW my cpu-related shortcut switches are ...

-cpu2 -dd_sw -multiaudio
