supply or fuel

I sent a cargo ship with supplies from Los Angeles to Eureka (I think the base is unimportant), since I was low on supplies there
then I noticed after a couple of days that supplies were more or less the same but fuel was increasing
did it happen something similar to you?
which can be the reason?
last login before 3 weeks of holidays unfortunately without WitpAE

Many thanks

Paolo

how much supply stays at a base depends on what supply draw/request you have set for it.

fuel demand comes from ships homeported/using the port.

usa bases are on good land supply routes so shipping supply there is not needed. just set the draw/request and slowly it will build up 3x the request.

Thanks for your reply, but the problem is that I put supplies on the ship, and she disembarked fuel instead
any explanation?
thanks

Look at the individual ship display (click on the ship name in the TF display). Then look at the capacity columns. Some merchant types (xAK / xAKL / AK) have both a cargo capacity AND a fuel capacity.

If you tell those ships to load fuel then they will fill the fuel capacity with that much fuel, and fill the cargo capacity with the reduced amount of fuel that can be accommodated in cargo space.

If you tell those ships to load supply then they will fill the cargo capacity with supply and fill the fuel capacity with fuel.
