I've seen posts on the forums about people playing in galaxies with less or more sectors - say, 5x5 or 15x15.

Is there any way to choose the amount of sectors in RotS?

When you start a custom game, you do have a slide bar to select galaxy physical size.

All I can slide is the amount of stars...

Maybe the slider wasn't implemented in ROTS. I've only started playing when Shadows came out.
And maybe the physical size is adjusting relative to you star ammount.

F0rdPrefect, I'd highly recommend getting Legends as it really fleshes out the game. Shadows is excellent too but I Felt the game was perfectly enjoyable at the legends expansion.

I will, sooner or later.

I just bought the game a week ago, and it's 80€ for all expansions. That's a bit much^^
